OVERVIEW
An all mountain twin that loves powder. This sexy hybrid blends the freestyle and carving traits of a true twin with a powder friendly nose and tail.
The Directional Twin was designed to provided the benefits of a true twin shape when riding on firm or packed snow while maintaining the float of a powder board. there is no setback or taper to the shape so when you are riding in conditions where the nose and tail are off the snow, the board will ride like a twin, whether you are carving on firm windpack or hitting a backcountry kicker.
But when the snow is soft the elongated nose and cutout tail will give the board some float and take the strain off your back leg. This board strives to combine the best features of our Twin and our Directional, hence: the Directional Twin.

MATERIAL
Aerospace Carbon
At TahoeLab they use full sheets of aerospace grade carbon fiber in every board. Adding carbon fiber gives our boards a livelier flex, reduces the overall weight, and prevents them from losing their strength and pop after seasons of hard riding.
Bamboo Core
Bamboo has a great strength-to-weight ratio, allowing for lighter, snappier boards and is the most renewable core material currently available. Our bamboo is responsibly harvested and FSC certified.
Sintered Base
TahoeLab boards use DuraSurf™ sintered base material, which offers superior toughness and resistance to rock damage as well as providing excellent wax absorption and a super fast ride.
Edgeless Tip and Tail
By removing the edge from the tip and tail area of our boards we have lightened the swing weight and reduced the chance of the boards getting hung up on rocks in a tight chute. Our edgeless tip and tail is also easier to repair if it gets damaged.
UHMW Sidewalls
UHMW (P-tex) sidewalls are recognized throughout the snowboard industry for providing durable edge protection and damping out vibrations while riding.
